Welcome to Swayamshree Mahila Samabaya Samiti Ltd

Poverty has been an age-old ailment by which quite a sizable numbers of people especially the poor and the downtrodden suffer a lot across the globe.

Although progressing well in the recent past, Odisha is still viewed to be one of the poorest states in India. A large segment of urban and rural women in Odisha still are being illiterate and considered the weakest link in the mainstream economy. No doubt that the Government, Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), Corporate and other development agencies have been making their efforts to eradicate poverty and to bring socio-economic development for the people in the state.
